About the founder
Alessio Montaruli.
Founder and Group CEO of KiTalent.
He holds an MA in Theoretical Philosophy from the University of Turin, where he graduated with full distinction (110 e lode) on a thesis in phenomenology, having attended exams under Gianni Vattimo during his studies. In 2007 he received the Premio di Laurea Corradino from the Rector of the University of Turin, Ezio Pellizzetti, for the best graduation thesis. He spent a semester at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg, attending the lectures of Günter Figal. His earlier education was at the Liceo Classico D'Azeglio in Turin, where he graduated with the highest marks and led the youth section of the Centro Pannunzio under Pier Franco Quaglieni. He also trained in classical music at the Conservatorio di Novara.
His career began as a DACH Export Manager in the United Kingdom. He moved into executive search through a London and Manchester-based headhunting firm, running the automotive talent market in Bavaria. He then took up the role of Manager for Italy at an international recruiter, opening the Italian market personally for the firm, with a focus on large multinational insurers and on senior leadership and temporary top-management mandates. He worked between Italy, Germany, and Spain, building a team of ten recruiters, before founding KiTalent first in London and then in Turin in 2016.
He works in Italian, German, English, and Spanish, also speaks French, and reads basic Russian and Greek.
The best available candidate is rarely the best candidate in the market.
Search creates value by closing that gap.
